Exe:
- Improved FPS.
- Set LargeAddressAware flag on 32 bit executables.
- Fixed squadron patches showing up transparent.
- Fix the "Load Error" message in UI when loading the DTC.
- Fix for the FCR BIT timer going into negative count if the FCR isn't displayed on MFD at the moment that the count reaches 0.
- Allow the TGP to set the ground spot position to the trackpoint if it’s in A-G mode and displayed on one of the MFDs. That will force deaggregation of entities close to the trackpoint.
- Set default PS emitter activeRange to 300K feet. Some effects use greater visibleDistanceScale than the previously defined activeRange - 100K feet.
- Candidate fix for the problem where dumb bombs appeared never to hit in 2D world. This seems in fact to be because making bombs with range of zero means they have a low single digit chance to hit rather than no chance...wrong either way. This change makes the hit chances more reasonable at the expense of a very small boost in chances for stand-off weapons fired in 2D. Note: this corresponds to a data change: all dumb bombs should be marked range equal zero now.
- FalconEditor updates. Ability to edit alternative theaters.
- Fix for problem with data mismatch for internal fuel vs. sum of all internal fuel tanks which did lead to problem not disconnecting from boom.
- Fix for new CL calculation where maybe some rounding error will cause trouble.
- Turbulence in U4 is heavily broken. Fixed now.
- Fix for the missing AIM-120 Reticle in MRM mode. Fix for AIM-120s in MRM mode showing "SRM" HUD string, it’s now "MRM" again.

- Added, some extra fields.
- Added, change formation. Formations are stored in an external file with the name: Formations.ini
Commcard
- Added, some extra fields that can be filled and used.
- Added, Save/load function to import export different parts of the commcard.
- Added, Option to select the STPT in the route list (stpt coordinates).

FreeFalcon - La fin
Monday 21 January 2013 14:39:00
FreeFalcon Fans,
It has been my honor and pleasure to be associated with FreeFalcon these past few years and to serve as head of FreeFalcon. It is with reluctance that I
now feel it is time to close the doors to FreeFalcon. Steve "Hustler" Wooters and myself have been in close consultation with each other other the past year
and a half and we both feel the time has come where FreeFalcon has nothing more to contribute to the community. The, time, energy, and costs to maintain
the website and server no longer serve the communities best interests.
Our development process has been active but we have reached a point where we have been unable to move forward in a way that would provide the sort of
meaningful advances that we know you want and expect. Theater development while productive also lacks from significant progress because there just
aren't enough active contributors to FreeFalcon dedicated theaters. Code development has for all intensive purposes been halted because we lost our
current source code and were unable to develop a replacement to allow us to keep our current theaters and to fix existing shortcomings in crucial areas
like stability, multiplayer, refueling, and AI. Lastly, the lack contributors to core material like models, skins, flight models, terrain tiles, campaigns,
and data besides make for a very slow process.
On the bright side, FreeFalcon can lay claim to be one of the oldest and longest active development teams in Falcon history and took Falcon to new
heights that perhaps the creators would have been proud of. Many people have contributed to FreeFalcon over the years I would be remiss if
I didn't name and compliment at least a few of the truly bright stars; perhaps first and foremost among the group are Steve "Hustler" Wooters, Dr. Fred
"Baldeagle" Balding, and Ron "Red1" Nair. Founders of FreeFalcon who started with a dream and made all of us dream even bigger.
Changelog :
Exe:
- PS sound range limit now defaults to the sound table value. This fixes external PS volume issues.
- IVC Client and Server version adjusted to 1.0.2
- The HOJ indication on the HUD/HMS is no longer available, as it is not a real F16 feature.
- Small fixes for Maverick SMS page OSB 1 & 2 not working when no missiles left.
- Fix for the bad alpha rendering in IR camera.
- Prevent loading of PPTs/TGTs and lines when DTC load is called after changing logbook pilot, otherwise a CTD is caused if there are PPTs set in the .ini (similar to the load at sim startup).
- Make Overfly mark not to automatically mark the point on entry if the current master mode is Dogfight or MRM. TMS up is needed now.
- Allow loading of previously saved TGT STPTs, PPTs and Lines for campaigns as well when calling for a DTC load. Loading for campaigns is done from callsign.ini.
- Prevent ACs from being initialized into stall condition.
- Ensured that ECM flights will always load ECM pods.
- Fix for blocked IVC radio channel when player is busy talking as they either have the jet shot out from under them or eject.
- Team color/flag/name/motto/colonel/commander/wingman/replacements/playerrating/lastmissionplayer are all updated correctly when connecting to an online game.
- Fix for AI not able to takeoff from airstrips (ATC was missing).
- Fixed external fuel tank handling for A/C without a center HP (e.g. Su-7 BMK).
- Corrected string formatting in force level history.
- Fix for ABs with damaged runways not getting repaired.
- Fixed overspeed damage on enter mission due to invalid waypoint timings - limited to 95% of curMaxStoreSpeed.
- Rewrote the TRP FUEL warning check routine, that should fix the "TRP Fuel warning coming up too early" issue.
- Added channel validity check on the IFF page:
-- M1 range 00 to 73, 1st digit 0-7, 2nd digit 0-3 (octal, but last digit restricted)
-- M2/M2 range 0000 to 7777, all digits 0-7 (octal)
- Fixed DED ILS CRS display to include leading zeros.
- Fixed FCR ACM/CRM mode in MRM always being coupled to the current NAV or AA mode, they can be set independent now.
- Fixed the "Enable Training Script" checkbox not resetting correctly when backing out of a TE. Made sure that the "Commit" button is only active if a TE is actually selected.......
All BMS data changes up to Update 3 were applied to IT – huge thanks to BMS for providing detailed changelogs!
Updated IAF F-16 models and skins:
--F-16C-30/40 LODS are now properly modeled with GE engine and specific IAF modifications – tail base extension and enlarged navigation lights below the cockpit.
--LITENING pod carried on IAF F-16s block 30 and up. F-16I carries in addition the AAQ-14 LANTIRN navigation pod.
--Pilots on IAF F-16s now wear IAF patches.
--Darker main landing gear.
--Darker GE engine nozzle on C/D models, black PW nozzle on I model.
Corrected squadron tail art on 3D cockpit for two squadrons.
New tower & TACAN frequencies as well documentation by Nikos (neystratiou). All airports now use real life data. Also fixes ATC issues with airports outside Israel.
Automatic loading of the custom cockpit textures of IAF F-16C/I by using independent cockpit LODs and parents.
Rebuilt and simplified theater configuration editor.
More features in target ranges.
Improved HUD projection mod by FanOfBMS432.
Improved tiles at Ovda and Hatzor airports. Modified roads around them to match.
New EAF skins from Battle for Sinai theater: Mirage 2000 EGM, F-16C-32E, F-16C-42E, Il-28, Tu-16, An-24, Su-7BMK.
Modified MiG-23 skin with Syrian markings.
New CH-47 skin by Aeyes.
New munitions skins by JanHas: Hawk, GBU-38-TR, AA-10, SA-5, SA-6, SA-11
New squadron patches for all IAF F-16 squadrons in the UI.
Fixed wrong drag and weight values of several pylons and drop tanks (4.32 bug), this is incorporated into the DB now (was optional).
AIM-120 removed from blocks 30 and 40 (was optional). F-16I and Jordanian MLU remain AIM-120 capable. Also Egyptian blocks 32/42 can carry AIM-7.
Fix for F-16A-15 chaff and flares not working (4.32 bug) incorporated into the flight models patch in the configuration editor.
Fixed hanger orientation in Ramon.
Defined value to oil / gas platforms in sea (was zero).
Fixed Jordanian MLU skin.
Deleted unconnected road segments near Ovda.
Zeroed damage value of CATM-120.
Fixed Israel name and flag on OOB screen.
Fixed missing “plain” areas in water tile sets.
Removed unneeded swamp type areas near El-Arish.
Added CFT to LOD2 of F-16I-CFT.
Fixed tiles alignment with runway at Beirut and Wujah Al Hajar airports.
Rebuilt THR file.
Moved several misplaced ground features.
Fixed exploding aircraft in Palmahim.
Changed role of F-16C squadrons in campaigns from A-A to general.
Reduced generation of SEAD missions for single seat models. F-16D and F-16I unaffected.
Fixed Egyptian and Syrian squadrons which were not assigned properly to an airbase.
F-16I without CFT is set to use flight model of F-16D-52 so fuel amount is correct now for this two seater aircraft (this was optional before as part of flight models patch).
Fuel amount of the F-16I with CFT is still 1400 lbs above what it should be as there is no flight model for a two seater with CFT in BMS, so it uses FM of F-16C-52+-CFT – it is therefor recommended to reduce fuel load by 1400lbs in the munitions screen when flying F-16I-CFT.
Fixed airbase name in Cyprus in the third campaign.
Corrected weight of training missiles.
Moved Port Said sea port to shore.
Fixed wrong taxi sign in Hatzerim.
In campaigns Israel and Coalition Forces are grouped under a team so there is no redundancy when displaying assets in the OOB screen.
New hangar texture in Hatzor and Ramon.
Moved uninstaller to root BMS folder.
Fixed H4 airport in Jordan – it previously had buildings on the runway.
Removed non-IAF KC-135 skins. Fixed director lights.
Addressed compatibility with Battle for Sinai theater so both theaters can be installed / uninstalled independently.
Updated most existing documentation with added information and changes. Reorganized Docs folder.
New documents:
--TACAN navigation aid.
--Ramat David landing pattern diagram.
--Hatzerim airport diagram.
--Navaids list by Nikos.
--MAIP (approach charts) by Nikos with charts for Ben Gurion, Hatzor, Ramat David, Ramon, Abu Suwary (Egypt) and Rafic Hariri (Beirut, Lebanon).
Fixed “160 miles” radio call with Hebrew ATC enabled.

Online Squadron Collection V2
Friday 12 October 2012 21:34:30

F-16 Block 50 - Have Glass Skin
Tuesday 18 September 2012 20:19:00
